Henry Cavill at the NYC Man of Steel Premiere
Note: these pictures are my friend’s, I was there via proxy haha.
My friend and I stopped briefly at the Man of Steel Premiere at Alice Tully Hall. I got there a bit late, so the barricade area was already closed off, but my friend had luckily gotten there in time. I was able to see Henry Cavill when he arrived, albeit from the distance [man has some very fine cheekbones that I distinguished from a distance pfft…] My friend said that Mr. Cavill was very kind and gracious towards the fans, taking his time talking to them, taking pictures, and signing autographs, despite the rain. He actually got there way earlier [screening wasn’t till 7 pm] which is always a plus, since most stars really don’t ever seem to come on time for most carpet arrivals ^_^;; My friend was standing next to a mom with her two kids, a brother and sister, and when Mr. Cavill came down the line, he actually crouched down a little to chat with them. Apparently at one point, the little boy declared that he was Superman, and Mr. Cavill smiled and replied “Yes. Yes you are!” *D’AWWWWW* When Mr. Cavill reached my friend in the line, swear to god, she almost swooned [I was creeping from a distance outside the barricade and watching this unfold haha] and told him that she loved him in The Count of Monto Cristo and The Tudors, and he thanked her kindly, and then proceeded to take a picture with her. Needless to say, she was very happy. Unfortunately, we decided not to stick around afterwards [I was outside the barricade and couldn’t get inside], and really, it was the dang pouring rain today lolz.
